Mr. Slagle began his legal career serving as a legal intern for the Travis County District Attorney's Office, gaining an extensive knowledge of the law and how it is applied in the courtroom. He was able to try several jury trials at an early stage in his career. Mr. Slagle was also a judicial intern to Judge Charles Holcomb at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. The experience gained while at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals taught Mr. Slagle the importance of carefully researching each and every issue that may arise in any given case. The combination of trial exposure and appellate research and writing helped to create the lawyer Randall Slagle is today.

In addition to courtroom experience, Mr. Slagle is very competent in addressing complicated legal issues that arise, and coming up with the proper solutions to those issues for his clients.
Mr. Slagle is currently devoting most of his civil practice to estate planning, which includes drafting wills, trusts and other estate planning instruments. When selecting an estate planning attorney, you must be certain that your attorney is competent in understanding your needs, and capable of drafting each and every estate planning instrument that will best address those needs.
